SPE Salutes HMAS Tobruk
We are proud to have been associated with HMAS Tobruk for the last 15 years out of 34 years of her service to the Royal Australian Navy. HMAS Tobruk was commissioned in 1981 to provide Sea Lift capability for the Australian Army. Trademark equipment on board was 70 tonne Velle Derrick Crane which was proudly maintained, tested and certified by us. Various other equipment such Anchor Winch, Boat Davit, Lifting Equipment etc were also maintained by us. It is sad to say good bye to the ship whose motto was “Faithful and Strong”....Read more -
